Hello! First of all I’d like to say that the art for blood anchor looks all very pretty, so simple and yet fascinating. I have a special interest int he backgrounds. I know you have posted images of them on the phases as before you finish it, but if you could give more details about the process. It looks really pretty and gives such a nice, different feeling. If you could explain a bit more how you go about making them (and how you came up with that style too) I’d appreciate. Anyways, thanks!
here, i hope this helps! when i do blood anchor backgrounds i first create building/land mass silhouettes in black on a separate document and then paste them in!
also, here’s a speedier gif….

How do you go about coloring your Blood Anchor characters? Do you just color block them? It does not look (to me anyways) like you use a lot of lines to define the object of your work. (All of your art is lovely! So are you! :))
it’s kind of absurdly simple, but here you go! i hope this helps!

so michelle and i did some demon pop! collabs! michelle drew this sketch of ava as a prince and george as a mermaid and i painted it! you can see the demon pop! collab that i sketched and michelle painted here!

in other news, ava’s demon has been listed in this year’s March Mix Madness and if you like michelle’s amazing comic you should vote for it to show her your support!!

someone asked about the process of that demon pop! doodle i did yesterday but i didn’t save the file so i thought i’d make another like it as a warm up before i get to work today!

so here’s a little windy george
